Tyne Theatre - Here and Now
Back in 2015, David led a group of photographers in a 5 week project to photograph the Grade 1 listed Tyne Theatre and Opera House. The project led to a permanent exhibition of images in the theatre's Bistro area.
On 19th March 2020 the theatre was forced to close it's doors due to the Covid 19 pandemic. They switched on their 'ghost light' and closed the doors with no way of knowing when they could reopen safely. Since then, various fundraising activities have been undertaken, including live streamed concerts with everyone giving up their time to help out.
Some of the photographers involved in the project have decided to join in, by making images from the project available to buy, with all the profits going to the theatre. Taking the lead, David has collated a selection of images from the project and these are available in either print (A3 or A4) or digital format.
